Last night Josh Noem and I enjoyed a little guys' night out, attending the Jesuit High School football game against the Aloha High School Warriors. Now, high school football in New York isn't nearly as big a deal as it is in much of the rest of the nation, but once you see a game in a state that lives and breathes high school football, it's hard not to be taken in by the whole experience.
It was a great fall evening, clear and cool, and the Jesuit Crusaders dominated on both sides of the ball. Josh and I fortified our hot chocolate and enjoyed reminiscing about our own high school days . . . Josh being a high school grid-iron veteran.
And look: even football players and Jesuit high schools want to look like Domers!
