On my final day in South Dakota we toured Rapid City, and made a special visit to the diocesan cathedral: The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
We also had lunch at one of the Noem's favorite places to eat: the Firehouse Brewery!
It was, of course, a perfect place for this fireman's son . . . and the kids seemed to enjoy it as well:
Sadly, that was all the time I had to spend visiting the Black Hills - I returned to Notre Dame where I spent the week unpacking and attending a conference for the Cushwa Center. I was glad to have the chance to make the trip, though, and grateful to the Noems for treating me like visiting royalty!
