This year, the National Zoo's annual Christmas decorations, dubbed "Zoo Lights," were free and open to the public. The animals were, of course, all asleep for the evening, but the paths and lawns of the zoo were nicely lit with animal themed decorations.
Bobbie, Jess, Andrea, Brendan and I enjoyed a little Christmas cheer together, sharing dinner and then a walk through the displays. All that was missing was the snow!
