Now that we've had a few nice summer days in a row, I decided to spend some time this afternoon cleaning up the rectory backyard. Last year I had a massive amount of work to do just to clear the weeds and trim the shrubs enough so that the concrete patio was visible! This year it was more upkeep and planting. As you can see, though it's a small little plot, the backyard here is a nice place to do a little grilling, have a bite to eat, relax and enjoy.
