End-of-Year Golf Outing

Though classes ended on Friday, today is the last day that teachers at Holy Redeemer needed to be in the building for meetings and wrap-up work. So after their work day ended at lunch I joined Allen Grant and Sr. Maureen (pictured here at last year's Portland Spirit lunch cruise down the Willamette River)

for 9 holes of golf at the Portland Meadows Golf Course. It's a small 9 hole course in the middle of a horse track - and the perfect easy start for my golfing season. It's been more than a year since I've swung a club but I was pretty pleased with my performance - and it was just delightful to be out in the great weather with great people.
