Sunday, Muddy Sunday

Here under the Golden Dome students are gearing up for the final papers, assignments and tests of the semester. So there's lots of pent up energy and frustration to be released, and what better way than mud volleyball!

As part of the An Tostal spring festival, students mark off volleyball courts on the field alongside St. Mary's Lake and then spray them down. This year, the weather also contributed to the muddy conditions as it rained pretty steadily throughout the day.

Mike Palmer and Joe Sheehan (pictured below serving and gloating) both participated from Old College, though neither of their teams advanced beyond the initial rounds. I for one would have been glad!
