On Friday I was thrilled to help celebrate a decade of Noems.
And, no, we were not celebrating ten little garden elves.
Friday was the tenth wedding anniversary of Josh and Stacey Noem - dear friends, ND MDiv. classmates, parishioners, colleagues, parents of three wonderful kids, including my god-daughter Lucy . . . the list goes on and on.
Ten years ago Josh and Stacey married at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart just one week before graduating from Notre Dame. Then they spent their honeymoon on the Oregon coast.
Little did they know they would one day settle their little family in Portland, and have the chance to spend their 10th anniversary in the very same place they honeymooned!
Just before they blew out of town in their rented Mustang convertible (so jealous!) they stopped by the parish and Fr. Drew snapped this picture for us. Happy Anniversary dear Josh and Stacey!!
