Week of Jim

Not that Jim Gallagher needed a bigger head . . . no, seriously, Jim has a really immense cranium . . . but all of his Portland buddies are feting him this week as we prepare to (reluctantly) send him off to his new assignment as Associate Vocations Director for the Indiana Province.

Just back from two weeks in Nicaragua and about to head off to Le Mans, France for another two weeks (I know, and you though I was the galavanter!) before he moves to South Bend in early July, this was the only full week we had to celebrate Jim in style.

Last night Ken Hallenius and Tommy Stofel hosted a bocce game on the UP campus, and this weekend we will be having a farewell dinner at the Rhinelander German restaurant and beers at the Moon and Sixpence pub.

Oh, and there are t-shirts! Here's the logo designed by Josh Noem and Fr. Nate Wills, CSC. It's pretty awesome, isn't it? They did a great job.
