Holy Redeemer Parish held its Third Annual Italian Dinner this Sunday. In the past, the food was provided by the wonderful chefs of Bon Appetite at the University of Portland. But as wonderful as those guys are, we all know there is nothing better than homemade Italian food. So this year, Marc Battilega, his son Stephen, and a whole bunch of other family members did the sauce and pasta preparations. Other parishioners pitched in by baking desserts, serving and cleaning up . . .
I can't say how well the event did as a fundraiser, but it was certainly a great meal and alot of fun for everyone who attended. Grazie, to everyone involved.
